Day after day I am becoming more conscious about the feedback of my body towards certain patterns. I became much more sensitive about taste, choices of foods, overeating, and energy levels. I feel my mind became clearer. I spend minimum time to think about food and when I do, it takes me a moment to catch the flavor I crave for.

I feel like my friends started laughing more often. It seems to be so usual but the truth is it was not like this before. It is very important to notice these changes and note them at least in your mind.

There were also times when I overate because of anxiety, sometimes for the sake of taste, sometimes following the flow of the crowd, after having more than enough pumpkin seeds, trying to balance the taste and feeling or something else. The positive side of raw foodism is that you never feel too heavy for a long period of time or any time at all. At the same time overeating is a stress for your body at that particular moment which could be a healing effect if taken moderately.

I clearily felt that having too much food in the evening cause difficulty to wake up very early in the morning. Energy level is much lower than after having a light meal at night.

Also I realized that food is far not the only reason for the lack of vitality. When I sit in the office and have only couple of fruits (taking into consideration that tomatoes and cucumbers are also fruits) and some veggies, I often feel exausted at the end of the working hours. Mostly it happens when I non-stop sit in front of the computer or when atmosphere is tense.

Everyday is a new discovery for me. Every meal is an utter enjoyment. My rule of 7pm is still the biggest challenge but I’m heading towards it

I think I get used to good mood and energy, to smiling faces around and enthusiastic attitude. Looking for happiness in far far away I think people have to pay attention first on their plates .

I got ‘Complete Book of a Raw Food’ as a present and now more then ever excited to experiment with new receipts, and to my surprise I realized how easy and creative it can be.

My food patterns changes every day and every other day my body asks absolutely different foods and the beauty is that as summer goes fruits and vegetables rotates, so I have plenty of choice. I notices how my preferences change, and if before I was after gourmet dishes and complicated stuff now I started to enjoy more a plate of a few tomatoes with cashews.

But there is other challenge which seams bigger then I thought – eating late. And it seeams like all of us can’t overcome this habit, well guys are not trying to do it but for us, girls, it became real challenge – much more then raw food. The problem is that once we eat late we can’t go for sports, we don’t sleep well, and wake up tired and with heavy feeling, so the next day is not that great as it can be once u ’sore’ from the bed with uplifted mood.

Well, the summery of 2 weeks is: ‘FOOD DOES MATTER!’. So please fill your plates with God given blessings and enjoy life to the fullest, cause when your body is healthy, your mood is great, your soul is rejoicing and your mind is at peace you don’t need much, then just a silent walk with the dear person under the starry sky becomes the biggest blessing.

This weekend we had a first RAW picnic experience. We arranged it with our friends who had no clue that we went raw for 30 days. Happy prepared excellent snacks and salad. Our friends were excited to try what we brought with us. And they loved it so much. More than that we felt so light and uplifted to walk and climb the mountains as we never did before in our past experience, when we were having BBQed chicken and bread. The first time we enjoyed the scenery of the nature so much. It is very important that friends whom we invited are very open minded and curious to know other people’s findings.
